Where to start, where to start? Well, I was born and raised in the Twin Cities, south suburbs to be exact. After high school, I attended South Dakota State University in Brookings, and couldn’t really find my place. After returning home, I found that radio was my calling! I attended Brown College and while attending class I covered sports online with the Minnesota Sports Broadcast Network. I loved every second and am excited to bring you the best Rams sports coverage!
While going to school, and even before, I’ve been a HUGE sports and music fan! I’m all-local…my favorite sports teams are the Gophers, Twins, Wild, Timberwolves (sometimes), Saints, etc. Most of my favorite music is local as well, not to mention anything else someone might give me to listen to.
Radio to me is insanely exciting! There are so many things to get involved with, people to meet, games to see, music to listen to, radio is where the excitement is! I was first bit by the radio bug in South Dakota. I had a morning show on the campus radio station and had a blast with it. Now, whenever I cover a sports game, I get the same energy and excitement I do from music! It’s a win, win!
I’m excited to get to know all of you, and see some great things from the Rams in the coming months!
Favorite Song? – That’s a hard one…I listen to SO much music, it’s hard to just pick one.
Favorite Movie? – Almost Famous.
Favorite Book? – Any athlete biography, or anything by the Dalai Lama.
Favorite Color? – Blue, or black.
Most Memorable Radio Moment? – Having the opportunity to cover the Minnesota State High School Tournaments.
What is your favorite quote? – "What are dreams for anyway, without the guts to live your life that way? What are songs for, anyway, without the guts to live your life that way?" - Highway Kings, The Bouncing Souls
What's the best concert you have ever been to? – 311 Day in New Orleans! 311 puts on a five hour marathon show every other year in New Orleans on March 11 (hence the title of the day, 311 Day). I was fortunate enough to go with some close friends in 2008, and had the greatest time of my life!
What do you do in your free time? – Lets see…music, live shows, fishing, golf, hockey, baseball/softball, hanging out with friends, reading, movies…the list is really endless.
What is the best part of your job? – Being able to be in a great sports town and be on the front lines with the teams, parents, players and coaches. Also, radio is such an incredible way to be involved in the community, no matter how big or small.

I originally hail from Superior, WI, so I’m no stranger to towns with a strong hockey history. I spent the first 27 years of my life there before I finally decided that after 10 years of having a “job” I wanted a “career” so I enrolled at Brown College in Mendota Heights, MN to study radio broadcasting. This is my first gig out here in the real world and couldn’t be more excited to be getting this thing started.
I’m a big sports fan, with baseball being my favorite sport. Being from Wisconsin you may think I’m a cheese head, but no, I’m Vikings all the way. Although, that may be where most of my Minnesota allegiances end. I’m an avid yet average golfer and in my mind there is no better way to spend a day than out on the links.
Favorite Song? This is tough, so I’ll just go with my favorite song by my favorite artist. Logically you would think that that would be your favorite song, but I’m not sure it is. Anyways, I’ll go with “Night Train” by Guns N’ Roses.
Favorite Movie? Seven
Favorite TV Show? Seinfeld
Favorite Book? The entire Calvin and Hobbes collection.
What is your favorite quote? “Serenity now”, I know that according to Seinfeld I may go insane later, but this relaxation technique works for me.
What's the best concert you have ever been to? Bon Jovi on the Have A Nice Day Tour
What do you do in your free time? Anything sports related I’m willing to try. I also love to go to concerts.
What is the best part of your job? Getting to be creative
What's your favorite food? Nachos with all the fixings

I was born in Cherrypoint, North Carolina and moved to Los Angeles at a very young age. At the start of my sophomore year in high school my family relocated to the Twin Cities, and I had been there for the last 8 years. I graduated from Lakeville North High School in Lakeville, MN in 2009 and then attended Minnesota State University Moorhead for one year before deciding the 4 year University scene wasn’t for me. After a couple years out of school I decided to go back to school so I went to Sanford-Brown College (formerly Brown College) and got a degree in Radio Broadcasting.
I have always had a passion for sports, specifically Hockey and Baseball. My favorite teams are obviously the Twins and the Wild, but the Southern California kid in me still cheers for the Kings and the Ducks.
I am thrilled to begin my career in the Radio Industry with Wild102 and I cannot wait to get to know all of you!
Favorite Song? Take Out the Gunman by Chevelle
Favorite Movie? Miracle
Favorite Book? The Firm

What's the best concert you have ever been to? Halestorm, Stone Sour, Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed
What do you do in your free time? Play hockey, baseball, video games and hang out with friends
What is the best part of your job? Being able to do what I love. I always dreamed of going in to work and loving what I do, and I now get the opportunity to do just that.
Words of wisdom for the kids? I know it’s a cliché, but don’t quit on your dreams. There have been countless times when I thought I was never going to make it in radio. I just wanted to give up and go back to my job at the gas station. I didn’t though, and now I am one step closer to reaching my dream.
